2008 British Open Rotoff Golf Leaderboard

Round 4

Golf Cheese Hoes survives and wins ($20) her first major on a solid final round score of  -1 and -11 overall.   Gonzalez gets the major RU ($5) with a total score of -9, his second career major RU.  On a day when everyone went backwards, Golf Cheese Hoes prevails with the help of British Open runner up Ian PoulterAlso sharing the RR was 18 Hoes whose -1 clinched a 3rd place finish to move up two spots in the SLS Cup point standings.

Defending champ Shlink Lincoln finishes dead last and makes a costly mistake by sitting tournament winner Padraig Harrington who was supposedly injured on Wednesday before the Open started.

 ”I’m such an idiot.”

It was a woulda, coulda, shoulda for just about every team as winning player combinations were out there.  It was just a matter of cutting the right golfer at the right time.

Round 3

Brutal, brutal scoring today.  Honma is on the lead at -13 overall, two shots better than Dutch Roll and three shots better than Golf Cheese Hoes, Gonzalez and Kinzler.

Round 2

Round 1

On a tough day for scoring, Golf Cheese Hoes shoots the RR at -6 to lead by one shot after the first round.  Sand Crabs and Honma are currently T2 at -5 with a handful of teams T4 at -4.  Defending champ Shlink Lincoln got off to a rough start and is currently in 8th place.  Only five shots separate 1st from last place.  Look for rougher afternoon conditions tomorrow.

2008 U.S. Open Rotoff Golf Leaderboard

Round 4

It’s too easy for 18 Hoes who hangs on for a course record -22 and a five shot major victory.  The win ($20) also moves him out of the basement in the Point standingsShlink Lincoln has his “Shlink Slam” quest denied but does get his first major RU ($5).

It was a historic Sunday for 18 Hoes who adds a major win to his career record of 11 Rotoff wins.  18 Hoes, the 2007 SLS Cup runner up, has struggled most of the season as his team captian has been hurt but is now only a few points out of the SLS Cup playoff chase.

Round 3

18 Hoes is on a mission.  Looking for his first major win, 18 Hoes shoots the RR for the third straight day of -6 (Woods 70) for a total score of -24 and leads Shlink Lincoln by six shots.  Kinzler and Golf Cheese Hoes are T3 at -17 overall.

Round 2

18 Hoes (Woods 68, Karlsson 70) and Golf Cheese Hoes (Cink and Toms four birdies each) share the RR at an astounding -10, two shots better then the round 1 RR,  and sit 1st and T2 respectively.  Also T2 is Shlink Lincoln, three shots behind leader 18 Hoes.  The top 8 teams are within five shots of the lead and this tournament is far from over as tougher scores can be expected this weekend.

Round 1

18 Hoes, Romig and Shlink Lincoln  share the Rotoff Round of the day at -8 and lead Kinzler and Sand Crabs by one shotShlink Lincoln’s quest for the “Shlink Slam” is still alive as this years Masters champ looks to continue his major winning ways.  Last years U.S. Open champ Dutch Roll has some work to do, sitting in last place after round 1, though only four shots off the lead.
