Round 4

Gorilla Biscuits runs away with the win ($4.00) on a monster round by tournament winner Jim Furyk. It’s Gorilla Biscuit’s first win of the season to go along with two major RU’s. Romig ends up with the RU ($1.00), a record sixth RU of the season, beating 18 Hoes in playoff holes.

There’s just five weeks left in the regular season and the race for the #1 seed is down to longtime rivals Romig and 18 Hoes. Romig currently holds an 8.5 point lead for the top spot. The #1 seed will receive the #1 pick in the Playoff Free Agent period as well as play the #4 seed in the first round of the SLS Cup Playoffs.

Romig shoots the RR of the day at -9 on Vijay’s 68 and sits T2 at -28 overall. 18 Hoes has the lead after three rounds at -29. Gorilla Biscuits and Kinzler are also in the mix for the $ Finish, at one shot and two shots back respectively.

Round 4

Shlink Lincoln gets his first major win ($20.00) despite Harrington’s double bogey on 18. Gorilla Biscuits sneaks in for his second straight major RU ($5.00) in a three way playoff, winning on Furyk’s birdie on 18.

Despite a subpar season Shlink Lincoln (currently 9th on the Points List) joins the rank of Rotoff major winners with consistent scoring in every round. It is only Shlink Lincoln’s second win of the season to go along with two RU’s. The major win moves him up to 4th on the 07 Money List.

Not only was it Gorilla Biscuits second straight major RU, it was also the second playoff major RU. Gorilla Biscuits moves to 2-0 in major playoffs. Gorilla Biscuits joins Dutch Roll as the only teams with two staight major $ finishes.

Dutch Roll’s historic quest for a third straight major win was derailed in the 2nd round with the second lowest round 2 score and he never got closer then two strokes in the final round.  There will be no Dutch Slam this season.

Round 3

Kinzler shoots the RR of the day (Els six birdies) to get back into contention. Kinzler moves up from 9th to T6 and is only four shots off the lead. Gorilla Biscuits and Slaughter are tied for first place at -24. Gonzalez and Romig are tied for 3rd at -23. To keep with the theme of the week, only four strokes separate the top eight teams. In other words it’s going to be a close finish. Can Gorilla Bisuits gets his second straight major $ finish? Will Dutch Roll make a Sunday charge to win his third consecutive major? Stay tuned.

It is still anyone’s major to win as only six strokes separate 1st from 9th place and only three strokes separating 1st from 6th. The British Open is setting up to be another exciting Rotoff major finish.

Two shots back are last week’s winner Slaughter and Shlink Lincoln. Dutch Roll’s quest for a third straight major is still very much alive, infact no one is out of contention after the first round, as only six strokes separate 1st from 10th place.
