2007 Week 32: PGA Championship Scoring

Round 4

Kinzler gets his first win of the season and a major win ($20.00) at that. Kinzler got the low final round from Ernie Els and got solid contributions from his team all week. It was the first wire to wire major win in Rotoff Golf. Dutch Roll gets the major RU ($5.00) in a playoff over Sand Crabs on Tiger’s bidie on 16.. Dutch Roll wraps up the 07 Money List title and also takes over #1 on the Points list.

Just three more weeks until the SLS Cup Playoffs begin………

Round 3

Golf Cheese Hoes shoots the low round of -10 (Rose six birdies) moving into a tie for 1st place. Kinzler and Sand Crabs are tied for the lead after 54 holes at -25. Dutch Roll and Gonzalez are T3, three shots off the lead.

Round 2

Dutch Roll gets a record round from Tiger (63) enroute to the RR of the day (-11) and into a tie for 1st place with Kinzler and Sand Crabs.

Kinzler and Sand Crabs share the RR of the day at -12, good enough for a four shot lead on 3rd place. Only seven strokes separate 1st from 10th place.

Round 4

Dutch Roll gets the win ($4.00) and Golf Cheese Hoes gets the RU ($1.00).

Round 3

Golf Cheese Hoes shoots the RR of the day at -5 and sits in 6th place after 54 holes. The 54 hole leader is Sand Crabs who has a two stroke lead on 2nd place Gonzalez.

Round 2

Gonzalez shoots a RR -10 and sits in 2nd place, one shot behind leader Sand Crabs. British Open winner Shlink Lincoln is in 3rd place, two strokes off the lead.

Round 1

Sand Crabs comes to life with a RR -12 on the heels of Oberholser and Sabbatini, good enough for a two shot lead over Dutch Roll after round 1. Sand Crabs is making a push for the 4th and final playoff spot, sitting only 14.5 points behind Gonzalez coming into this event. That points gap could be cut in half if Sand Crabs can keep the lead.

The course is playing like a major, which is a good test for next week at Southern Hills. But I won’t get ahead of myself, as playoff positioning is on the line THIS week.

2007 Week 30: Canadian Open Scoring

Round 4

Gorilla Biscuits runs away with the win ($4.00) on a monster round by tournament winner Jim Furyk. It’s Gorilla Biscuit’s first win of the season to go along with two major RU’s. Romig ends up with the RU ($1.00), a record sixth RU of the season, beating 18 Hoes in playoff holes.

There’s just five weeks left in the regular season and the race for the #1 seed is down to longtime rivals Romig and 18 Hoes. Romig currently holds an 8.5 point lead for the top spot. The #1 seed will receive the #1 pick in the Playoff Free Agent period as well as play the #4 seed in the first round of the SLS Cup Playoffs.

Round 3

Romig shoots the RR of the day at -9 on Vijay’s 68 and sits T2 at -28 overall. 18 Hoes has the lead after three rounds at -29. Gorilla Biscuits and Kinzler are also in the mix for the $ Finish, at one shot and two shots back respectively.

Round 2

Gorilla Biscuits (Furyk and Calcavecchia’s six birdies each) and Romig (Singh seven birdies, Duke five birdies) share the RR of the day at -12. Gorilla Biscuits and Kinzler are tied for 1st at -22. 18 Hoes lingers one shot off the winning pace and Romig is in 4th place at -19.

Mark Calcavecchia, Daniel Chopra, Ken Duke, Steve Flesch, Bill Haas, Pat Perez, John Rollins, Mike Weir

Round 1

Kinzler shoots a monster score in round 1, with 13 birdies and an eagle (Van Pelt 66), for a -15 and a one shot lead over 18 Hoes. 18 Hoes got three eagles today (all from round 1 leader Mahan) and could move up to 1st on the points list with a $ Finish and/or bonus points. Kinzler is looking for his first win of the season and a win this week would give him an outside shot at making the SLS Cup Playoffs.
