Round 4

A milestone is reached on this Sunday as Slaughter becomes the first team on the Rotoff Tour to defend their title.  Last season Slaughter dominated the final round to win by six shots.  Today Slaughter also shot the Rotoff Round of the day at -3 (Kenny Perry) to secure a three shot win ($4).  Rotoff Tour officials are considering renaming the Memorial Tournament to “The Slaughter” for next season.

The leader through three rounds, Kinzer could not hold on but still gets the RU ($1).  Kinzler and Slaughter were tied at -26 in the early going but after Perry’s first birdie on 5, Slaughter never looked back.

Slaughter is now within 7 points of Points leader Dutch Roll who has been #1 since week 1 and is the defending SLS Cup champion.  Kinzler moves up two spots into the 4th spot.  The top two teams in the Points standings will receive byes for the first round of the SLS Cup Playoffs.

Round 3

Gonzalez has the RR at -8 (Mickelson 5 birdies) to get back into contention, in 3rd place heading into the final round, and three shots back.  Leader Kinzler shot a solid -6 in round 3 and at -28 overall leads defending champ Slaughter by two shots.  Honma is also with in shouting distance at -24 and in 4th place.

Round 2

Kinzler goes low in round 2, an impressive -11 (Ogilvy and Couples 71’s), and ties defending champ Slaughter for the lead at -22.  There’s a three way tie for 3rd place as Shlink Lincoln, Honma and Golf Cheese Hoes all sit four shots back at -18 overall.
