Round 4

Slaughter gets some key putting on the last few holes and hangs on for his first win ($4) of the season but better yet moves from 7th to 2nd on the Points list.  Romig shoots the RR at -2 (only team under par in round 4) to get his fourth RU ($1) of the season and tenth career.  It was a tough tough day for scoring as everyone went backwards.  Slaughter’s victory was only the third wire to wire win of the season.

Round 3

Slaughter shoots the RR of -8 (Scott 67, Donald 68) and maintains his wire to wire lead at -24 overall.  Two shots back is Kinzler who got a great round from Sergio Garcia (65) to stay in contention.  Shlink Lincoln is three shots back at -21.

Round 2

Kinzler lights it up with the RR of -10 (Mallinger 66) to pull into a 1st place tie with Slaughter at -16 overall.  One shot back at -15 are Dutch Roll and Shlink Lincoln.  Four teams are T5 at -13.

Round 1

Coming off back to back T7 finishes since his RU at the Shell Houston Open, Slaughter gets solid scoring in round 1 for the RR of -9 (Scott 68, Calc 4 birdies) and leads a slew of teams at -8, including defending champ Shlink Lincoln.  Scoring will be just as tough tomorrow with more winds expected.
