2008 Week 10: PODS Championship Scoring

Round 4
Sand Crabs gets back into the winner’s circle pulling out a comeback win ($4) over defending champ 18 Hoes, who finishes RU ($1). On a day when most teams went backwards, Sand Crabs shot the RR for the second straight day at -2 to seal the one shot victory. Also shooting -2 was Gonzalez whose 3 bonus points marks a Rotoff first. It was the first time the team with 3 bonus points finished last for the tournament. Not sure what it means, other than this was a weird tournament for scoring and weather (and delays).
Round 3
The RR is shared by Honma and Sand Crabs at -5. Honma is in 1st at -21 overall and leads by two shots over Kinzler, Sand Crabs, Slaugher and defending champ 18 Hoes. It’s going to be a tight finish.
Round 2
Dutch Roll shoots the RR of day at -7 and sits in a tie for 1st with Honma and 18 Hoes at -16. It was a horrible day for scores, with several teams receiving bogeys on their scorecards (which is un heard of for round 2 Rotoff scoring). Also in contention overall are Kinzler and Slaugher both at -15 for the tournament.
Round 1
Slaughter gets off to a great start in round 1 enroute to a RR -14 (Perry 66, Byrd 67), good enough for a three shot lead heading into Friday’s second round. In 2nd place is Honma at -11 with 18 Hoes and Shlink Lincoln T3.
