2007 Week 29: British Open Scoring
shlinklincoln July 18th, 2007

Round 4
Shlink Lincoln gets his first major win ($20.00) despite Harrington’s double bogey on 18. Gorilla Biscuits sneaks in for his second straight major RU ($5.00) in a three way playoff, winning on Furyk’s birdie on 18.
Despite a subpar season Shlink Lincoln (currently 9th on the Points List) joins the rank of Rotoff major winners with consistent scoring in every round. It is only Shlink Lincoln’s second win of the season to go along with two RU’s. The major win moves him up to 4th on the 07 Money List.
Not only was it Gorilla Biscuits second straight major RU, it was also the second playoff major RU. Gorilla Biscuits moves to 2-0 in major playoffs. Gorilla Biscuits joins Dutch Roll as the only teams with two staight major $ finishes.
Dutch Roll’s historic quest for a third straight major win was derailed in the 2nd round with the second lowest round 2 score and he never got closer then two strokes in the final round. There will be no Dutch Slam this season.
Round 3
Kinzler shoots the RR of the day (Els six birdies) to get back into contention. Kinzler moves up from 9th to T6 and is only four shots off the lead. Gorilla Biscuits and Slaughter are tied for first place at -24. Gonzalez and Romig are tied for 3rd at -23. To keep with the theme of the week, only four strokes separate the top eight teams. In other words it’s going to be a close finish. Can Gorilla Bisuits gets his second straight major $ finish? Will Dutch Roll make a Sunday charge to win his third consecutive major? Stay tuned.
