2007 Week 24: U.S. Open Scoring
shlinklincoln June 13th, 2007

Round 4
Dutch Roll holds on for the major win ($20.00) and Gorilla Biscuits gets the major RU ($5.00) in a playoff over Golf Cheese Hoes with Furyk’s par on 18. It’s Dutch Roll’s second straight major win, and talk of the Dutch Slam can now begin. Dutch Roll now has a commanding lead on the 07 Money List.
Round 3
Dutch Roll shoots an impressive -4 in round 3 (Woods two birdies, fifteen pars) to tie for the lead after 54 holes at -16. Co-Leader Golf Cheese Hoes shot a solid -2 on Saturday. Romig and 18 Hoes both have an outside chance at a major $ finish, but it appears Sunday will be a battle between our Co-Leaders. Already #1 on Money List, Dutch Roll is looking to win his second straight major, as he won the Masters by one stroke over Gonzalez in week 14.
Round 3 FC
Ernie Els, Jerry Kelly, Jose M. Olazabal, Kevin Sutherland, David Toms
Round 2
Romig shoots lights out in round 2 with eight birdies (Stenson four birdies, Singh three birdies) and no bogeys for a RR -8. Golf Cheese Hoes remains in 1st place, holding a slim one shot lead over Romig and two shots over Masters champion Dutch Roll. The cut was not friendly today, as half of the teams are only playing with one golfer for the final two days. Ouch! The five teams with two golfers tomorrow (18 Hoes, Dutch Roll, Golf Cheese Hoes, Gonzalez and Kinzler) should be in good shape to contend for the U.S. Open title.
Round 2 FC/MC
Robert Allenby, Stewart Cink, Luke Donald, Joe Durant, Trevor Immelman, Justin Leonard, Ryan Moore, Arron Oberholser, Sean O’Hair, Henrik Stenson,Vaughn Taylor, Camilo Villegas, Brett Wetterich
Round 1
Coming off a win last week, Golf Cheese Hoes takes the lead after round 1 of the U.S. Open with nine birdies and no bogeys on her scorecard (Rose five birdies). 18 Hoes is one shot off the pace at -8 (Poulter three birdies). No one is out of the tournament thus far. Only five strokes separate 1st from last place. Dutch Roll’s quest for a second straight major is very much alive, as he sits at -6, three back. Look for more tough scoring tomorrow. I’m predicting no more then -20 will be the winning score. Stay tuned……..
