shlinklincoln May 9th, 2007

Round 4

Romig and Slaughter tie for the best round of the day at -6. Sergio’s solid back 9 (when was the last time Sergio made putts on Sunday?) helps Romig get the win ($4.00), tieing 18 Hoes for most wins on the season with four. 18 Hoes hangs on for the RU ($1.00), his third consecutive $ finish. Stewart Cink’s 66 helped Slaughter to a T4 finish and bonus points.

The waiver priority for the Free Agent Period 4 will be based on the order of finish below, with playoff holes deciding tiebreakers. Look for the Free Agent Period 4 announcement next Sunday at the conclusion of week 20.

Round 3

18 Hoes (Clark 67) and Romig (Garcia 67) share the RR at -10. Both Romig and Gorilla Biscuits sit on top of the leaderboard, each at -25. 18 Hoes is in 3rd place, one shot back and looking for his second consecutive win. Kinzler, looking for his first win of the season, is only two shots off the lead and has the tournament leader Sean O’Hair going tomorrow. Just as I thought, we’re headed for another dramatic Rotoff finish.

Round 3 FC

K.J. Choi, Daniel Chopra, Tim Clark, Ernie Els, Jim Furyk, Padraig Harrington, Arron Oberholser, Rod Pampling, Vijay Singh, Tiger Woods

Round 2

Gorilla Biscuits jumps into contention with a RR -9 (Furyk two birdies and an eagle, Purdy four birdies) and sits one stroke off the lead. 1st round leader Sand Crabs remains on top. Only six stokes separate 1st place from 10th place, and the 10th place team Dutch Roll has one Tiger Woods going tomorrow. So in other words, stay tuned here all weekend. It’s gonna be one hell of a finish, and most likely will be decided on playoff holes.

Round 2 FC

Robert Allenby, Stephen Ames, Luke Donald, Lucas Glover, J.J. Henry, J.B. Holmes, Rory Sabbatini, John Senden, Henrik Stenson, Bubba Watson

Round 1

Sand Crabs gets the RR of the day at -11 (Sabbatini 67) and leads 18 Hoes (Mickelson 67) by two strokes after the first round. There were quite a few bogeys on the scorecards today, which dosen’t happen often on Thursdays. Just goes to show how tough the conditions were out there. It’s still anyone’s tournament to win. Look for more brutal conditions tomorrow.

Round 1 FC

Paul Casey, Steve Flesch, Fred Funk, Paul Goydos, Trevor Immelman, Anthony Kim, Nick O’Hern, John Rollins, David Toms, Boo Weekley
